Initial setup

To add an Exchange account to the Mail app:

  1. From the Start screen, tap or click the Mail app tile.From the Mail app, select Settings.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Add an account.
  4. Select Outlook Exchange, Office 365,
  5. Enter your email address and password.
  6. Select Connect. If you receive a message about PC security, select Enforce these Policies.


If the email account is not found and you receive the following error message, complete the remaining steps to add the account:

  1. Click or tap Show more details.
  2. Enter the server address, your domain name, and your user name.

    Domain: should be left blank
    Username: username
  3. Select Connect.
